Brazilian Fan Experiences HC Reunion Remotely

I am happy and touch because i did talk with Henry, Don,
Ted, Bob and also Penny, Ginny, Jan and Tanja. I never will
forget it. Since child that I love High Chaparral and to me,
talk with some HC actors is a truely Miracle. This was my
special gift of my aniversary. I cannot go to reunion but
they came to me by my cell phone. Thank you Penny. You is
a special friend to me.

Farthest Traveler's Thanks to All

Last year I wrote that The High Chaparral reunion was
comming. So from that moment on the months look like
years to me. When it was August I counting everyday that
is past.
At the moment that I start my journey I was a little bit
nervious and hopefully everything goes as plan. But
unfortunely my journeys were terrible at London Heatrow
and it takes so much time for I arrived my plane. I must
hurry up myself like a roadrunner speedy gonzales to catch
my plane.
Finally when I arrived the plane and enjoy the view outside
the plane.
It was wonderfull to see the country below the plane.
When I arrived it was 15:03 in the afternoon and after the
security I took my shuttle bus to the hotel.
In the evening I arrived at the hotel and meet Denise. Later
I meet others and I was surprised how kind everyone is to
me. So I talk with her a while and were eating and she paid
for me a dinner that is wonderfull and kind from her. After
that I think it was nine o' clock I decided to go to my room.
After 22:15 I went to bed but could not sleep too good. The
next day I feel tired too. Later I go swim and it was nice to
swim there. It is a nice hotel. The next evening Friday I
sleep good and was not tired anymore the next day.
Saterday, later when we saw the High Chaparral episodes I
enjoyed myself from the episodes that I saw.
It was good to see Henry Darrow and it was nice talking to
him. I gave him a little souvenier from the Netherlands.
Henry was surprised and thanks me he for that.
It was the best day of my life to meet him.
Sunday 19th of August: I went to the restaurant and it was
fantastic to meet the other actors too.
I talk with the most of them and with them on the picture.
I had a talk with the grandson of Cameron Mitchel too and
that was verry nice to talk with him.
And I meet Maria gomez (perlita) . The Brunch it was
wonderfull so much delicous food.
I stand with a lot of actors on the picture. It was the best
journey of my life and it was it worth to have a journey like
this.
When I get the chance I will coming again. But I will never
fly over England anymore and no British airways anymore.
Someone at the reunion said to me. I see you are not too
shy to come. So when I was shy I had never come to the
reunion. I have no problems with that fortunately. I was
shocked when I saw that Henry Darrow feels not good and
the ambulance came to taken him to the hospital. I was
relieved that he later was come back to the hotel and feels
good.
I look back at these days and never forget it anymore.
At the end of the reunion I give a little speech to thanks
everyone to be kind for me and helpful with my English.
Sometimes it is difficult and don't understand but
fortunately they help me a lot.
I will thanks to everyone who is been so kind to me.
So I Look back and enjoy the photo's I had made. Fantastic.
